Major re-design decisions on the Website.
Increased the readability and contrast on the website playing with different shades of the same colours.
Reducing the load on the navigation bar: the majority of the site visitors are theatre enthusiasts that want to read plays or explore events that are to take place in their locality. Navbar elements are decided based on the above observation.

Search Experience on the website: the Search bar was moved to be a part of the top navigation, making it omnipresent making it easier for the user to access/search plays regardless of which page they are on.
The Search bar also shows the recommendations and also searches and shows relevant results as you type.

Changed the current section’s view where the visitor could take a glimpse of upcoming events, blogs in one go. also added a tab for featured plays for better discovery of plays.

The current section looked too cluttered with suggestions box, newsletter sunscribtion and testimonials in one section. So I tried to reduce the overwhelming amount of elements by fitting each of them into 3 different sections. Tried to fit all the testimonials in a single frame, allowing to skim through them in one go.

Made the footer more functional by adding essential navigation to the pages and added the newsletter subscription here.

Redesigned the forms experience for uploading scripts into bite size input fields are better readable and less overwhelming and easier to fill.

Other things that we worked on in addition to these were introducting login/signup modals, creating a design system with new components and blog, play, search pages.
